How are transaction fees calculated?
Transaction fees are calculated as a percentage of the total eIOU value transferred, based on your organization size. Additionally, peers in the network can charge their own fees for helping route payments, which would be added to the base transaction fee.
What are peer routing fees?
When payments need to be routed through intermediary peers in the network, those peers can optionally charge a small fee for providing the routing service. This creates an incentive for network participants to maintain good connectivity and liquidity.
When do I need to upgrade tiers?
You should upgrade when your organization exceeds the employee count for your current tier. We'll work with you to ensure a smooth transition.
